Greek Island Overlook

Greek Island Overlook
Available at daz3d

A lovely place with a great view of the Mediterranean Sea. Enjoy some sun-bathing and get a beautiful tan or get refreshed in one of the two pools. This set has plenty of space and peacful corners where you can rest from the hectic everyday life.

Quality:
Each element in this environment is well made with good materials. Giving you many posibilities for cool camera positions. How ever I find the environment a bit sparse. I miss some additional walls to make and illusion of a livinig area, and some slopes / cliffs / Rocks so I can have the camera to look onto the set from a distance. A bit like a remote controlled drone. Another thing is that it doesn't load as a set, but as a complete scene file. This messes with my workflow and my "Open Recent" list

Textures:
All elements only have one material option, and all textures and materials are bright. Nothing to say about that, because most environment and arcitecture set do so.

Morphs:
Few. There are two doors that can open. but what more is needed? Its an environment after all

Versatility:
The set isn't designed to be modular and I think it will be a challenge to use the environment or elements with others. The HDRI sky and horizon is cool and useful when ever you're well above sea level.

Overall:
The arcitechture matches perfect with my idea of a modern greek resort.when it is at it's best. But I think its missing some props to add to the detailing of the set. That could be parasols, a table with chairs or benches.

I've made two files so the environment can be loaded as a set. GreekIslandCourtyard.duf and GreekIslandCourtyard.png Download them both to your Greek Island Courtyard folder. It'll most likely look something like this:
c: \users\public\documents\My DAZ 3D Library\Environments\Architecture\Gree Island Courtyard\
And it will appear in your content library pane.
